Before you purchase your smoke detector, consider the size of your home. If you have a medium to large house or flat, it can be a good idea to have multiple smoke detectors, in order to stay as safe as possible. When at home 

Once you have brought your smoke detectors home and placed them in the appropriate places, it is important that you don’t forget about them. Smoke detectors need to be checked regularly, and it is a good idea to test them at least once a month. It is always better to be safe than sorry!
